I was inspired by the beautiful venue of this desert wedding that was set to happen at the stunning Bab al Shams, for this lovely couple Melanie and Tim. Their wedding had a calm colour scheme with pale blush and blues, much like the Pantone shades for 2016.
I worked closely with their awesome stylist, Jessica from Lace in the Desert to create the on-the-day stationery set that was very much inspired by the serenity of the Arabian desert and the beautiful place settings that the couple chose to introduce a bit of their English roots to this simple Arabian theme.
Melanie loved the fluidity of watercolor and we chose to design pieces that complimented the desert decor. Jessica worked with with some of the best vendors in the wedding world and I love how Natalee Cocks managed to capture the end result of all of these months of planning in beautiful muted tones and a calmness that only the desert provides.
Our Stationery set included some custom shaped stickers that we used to add some flare to cocktail stirrers. These stickers are versatile enough to use on favours or any wedding accessory you would like to customise.
We created a beautiful menu that went on every place setting on the beautiful blue and white crockery from Jessica’s inventory. Each place setting was finished with customised placecards that we created to match the custom made seating chart decorated with fresh foliage.
