The Lava rocks were the perfect background for our calligraphy invitation with rugged edged. Inspired by the jaw dropping beauty of the scenic landscape around Buðir black church in Iceland, we collaborated with Shay Photography to create an invitation for our real life couple’s engagement shoot in Iceland.
The bride wore this stunning dress by celebrity bridal dress designer Claire Pettibone. Although the highlight of this dress are the beautiful lace sleeves, the slim silhouette and gorgeous trail complements the bride so beautifully.
Katerin holds a beautiful bouquet by Icelandic florist Bloma Natura in beautiful fall colours. 2018 is all about colour, the International Wedding Trend report out earlier this year emphasised the use of deep burgandy, mustards and and berry tones in wedding decor and flowers. So don’t be afraid to try out this trend instead of pastels this year. I love using luxury textures like silk ribbons and velvet in the bouquet and invitation suite. Another trend to to watch out for in 2018.
We couldn’t be more happy for Katerin and Paul on their engagement, while they look so in love on their engagement shoot and wish them all a happily married life. We can’t wait to see how beautiful this couple will look on their wedding day.
